[Russia] 8-Day Itinerary in Russia

I am here to take action - to realise my promise on sharing my previous Russian trip details!

Simple outline of my previous 8-day trip in Russia: 

HKG-> Moscow -> St. Petersburg -> Moscow -> HKG

Among the 8 days, we spent 3 days in 

3 days in

We flew with Russian Airlines and travel within Russia (to and from Moscow to St. Petersburg) by over night train (the other option would be domestic flight/day train)!

I am not sure if you have already been to Russian before, below are some tips for you to bare in mind:

1. Don't expect Russian speaks English well (Indeed most of them does not speak English at all)

2. Be cautious about your own safety and do not walk along when the sun is down(I was being watched and followed in the metro!)
3. Bring your own pocket wifi/data card! Don't expect there is free wifi!
4. Russian metro brings you everywhere but don't forget to watch your stops as there is no English translations!
5. Please be expected that local Russian food is genuinely not very nice ( but their Italian food is amazing!)

6. They do have shelves of Vodka in the supermarket
7.Russian Starbucks mugs are must-buy items!!

And here you are my detail itinerary of the 8-day plan! 

Only for those who have never been to Russia (Since basically we went for the relatively common routes)!

Day 1: Arrived and check-in at Hotel: Mama Ro Apartments at Chistye Ponds

Day 2: Red Square (Красная площадь)->lunch at GUM Department Store(ГУМ GUM) ->St  Basil's Cathedral(Покровский Собор)->Lenin's Mausoleum (Мавзолей Ленина)
Day 3: Park Pobedy (Парк Победы) ->Triumphal arch(Триумфальная арка) ->lunch at Arbat Street (Арбат.) ->Cathedral of Christ the Savior(Храм Христа Спасителя)>Moskva River->Overnight train to St. Petersburg

Day 4: Arrive at Moskovskiy Station at 7am->Breakfast at Moskovskiy Station -> Bag drop at Elite Realty Nevsky Apartment->Nevsky Prospekt(Не вскийпроспе кт)

Day 5: The State Hermitage Museum (Зимнийдворец)->Church on Spilled Blood
Day 6: Summer Garden (Летный Сад)->St. Isaac's Cathedral(Исаа́киевский Собо́р)->Kazan Cathedral (Казанский Собор)->Night train back to Moscow

Day 7:Arrive at Komsomolskaya Square, Leningradskiy Station at 7am->bag drop at Hotel: Mama Ro Apartments at Chistye Ponds->Sparrow hills(Воробьёвыгоры)->Moscow State University(Московский государственный университет имени Ломоносова)->Moscow state Circus(Большой Московский государственный цирк на проспекте Вернадсого)

Day 8: Novodevichy cemetery & convent (Новодевичье кла́дбище)-> Flight back to HKG
